 ALEXANDER STARODUBOV                                                                            Alexander Starodubov was born in 1959 in Moscow to a military diplomat family so his military career has been predetermined since his childhood. And so it happened. Graduation from Moscow Aviation University (1977), followed by service as an officer in the Armed Forces, then the Academy of Missile Forces, a career promotion.And when it seemed that there would be only success in his future career, Alexander changed his destiny abruptly. He retired from the Army (1990) and chose the formidable path of Moscow Monmartre artist - in Old Arbat, from which later many well-known talented artists came.The artist's favourite genre is an urban landscape, the disappearing views of old Moscow, sometimes with the fantasy elements and Bulgakov motives. His works are in private collections in Russia and abroad. Series of works was acquired by Bulgakov Museum in Toronto.Awards: Russian Art Week 2011 (Spring) - 1st and 3rd places in the nomination"Landscape", Russian Art Week 2011 (Autumn) - 1st and 2nd places in the nomination"Landscape", ArtPreview-2011-finalist, winner. 
Since 2011 Alexander has been the member of Russian Federation of Artists.

Francine Van Nieuwenhove (Van Hove)

The illustrator and contemporary painter Francine Van Hove paints gentle, sensuous portraits of women in day-to-day poses. She always paints with a live model and has a particular mastery of transparent skin tones.  Beauty, refinement, sensuality and meditation are the prominent themes of her work. She is inspired by daily life, painting and literature. Her masters are La Tour, Ingres, Degas, the painters of the Italian Renaissance and Dutch painting.
